Journalling Guide: International Women's Day

Journalling Guide: International Women's Day

Hey loves!

Welcome to our 20-minute guide on boosting your confidence and embracing your inner power, in honour of International Women’s Day. I believe that a world where women feel powerful and confident, will be a world with more respect, nurturing and healing. So let’s use today’s special occasion to inspire a moment of reflection and connection within.

In this 20-minute journaling guide, I've put together four key sections to prompt you though thought-provoking questions. I'll chat about:

  • Reflecting on Inner Strength and intuition,
  • Celebrating Achievements,
  • Challenging Perfectionism, and
  • Discovering your purpose.

Which theme is standing out the most for you?

It's all about exploring how gratitude and being present can totally amp up your confidence and make you feel like the fierce queen you are. So grab a cuppa, get cosy, and let's dive into this reflective journey together. You've got this! 🌟 Let's begin!
Reframing Challenges to Unveil your Strength:

Recall a recent setback or challenge you faced. Instead of focusing on perceived failures, explore what strengths and skills you demonstrated in overcoming this obstacle.

How can you reframe this experience to recognise your resilience and inner strength?

Lean in and Trust Your Instincts:

Think about a time when you doubted your instincts or inner voice. Reflect on the outcome of that situation.

What might have happened if you had trusted yourself from the beginning?

How can you start to cultivate more trust in your intuition moving forward?

Stop Downplaying Your Achievements:

Take stock of your accomplishments and milestones, big or small, from the past year.

Instead of downplaying your successes, acknowledge the effort and determination it took to achieve them.

How can you celebrate your achievements and recognise your own capabilities?

Embracing Imperfection:

Explore a situation where you felt pressure to be perfect or feared making mistakes. Reflect on how this mindset impacted your confidence and decision-making.

How can you embrace imperfection as a natural part of the learning process and recognise the growth and resilience it fosters?

Unpacking Your Purpose:

Reflect on moments in your life when you felt a deep sense of fulfilment and meaning. What were you doing, and what values or passions were you aligning with during those moments?

Consider the unique strengths, talents, and qualities that you possess. How do these aspects of yourself contribute to your sense of purpose?

If you could make a positive impact in the world, what would it look like?

How can you align your actions and choices with your sense of purpose and make a meaningful difference in your life and the lives of others?

Finally, what if I ask you to reflect on how the idea of being present within yourself, would ‘allow’ you to cultivate a deeper connection with your intuition and embrace your authentic voice?
If you’ve gotten to the end of this page, congratulations for dedicating time and energy to yourself… how wonderful it’s been to have you here with me.
